Hoopoe,
“Leadership is a challenging and scrutinizing position.”
Not only will every word you speak be studied, but every action or non-action you select. Most of those looking on will never have the chance to know all the details, constraints, factors, policies, timelines or processes that must be accomplished to execute your goal. Most will not know of the meetings, advisers, brokers, and agents who are responsible or involved in your leadership developments. The higher or your position and oversight of individuals the greater the inspection of your leadership will become. Unfortunately, we are in scandalous times, and many will be subjected to the tabloids. Understand to whom much is given much required and the opposition is a part of the mantle as a check and balance of your fair or poor decision making. Often, as individuals of accountability, we deal with those who have narrow vision and understanding of our full responsibilities. “Let’s face it” we are human and make mistakes even when we have the best intentions for beneficial results.
“Hoo Poo”
We have an advocate and authority (Christ) who knows and see’s all of the smallest of details and intent of his followers. We need spiritual guidance into the correct steps to take and decision to make that are often not fully known to us. So, we pray for those who have rule over us “our leaders.” Our God specializes in turning the hearts and directions of kings and rulers. By the way, Hooper’s this is you! We should not only pray for our leaders but also for those we lead. A great trailblazer asked God for the wisdom to govern his people, and with great pleasure, granted intellect above ordinary men of the world. It is time to pray for our leaders and expect the same grace, mercy, patience and timely intervention we need to become pleasing to our God.
Remember the consistent and powerful prayer of those in right standing with God gains much influence.
